DEATH

Floyd one of the eight men of the 60th and 61st Companies wounded in the fighting near Houtkraal on 22 December 1900. Some 44 men of these Companies, including the wounded, surrendered to the Boer forces that day. All were released the following day, having been relieved of their arms, equipment and horses.
